About Chapter Volunteers
Chapter Volunteers help establish new troops, train and support Troop Leaders, promote Spark Troops in their region, and assist with outreach and fundraising activities. They also serve as an important connection between local Troop Leaders and Spark Troops leadership.
Chapter Volunteers support the program behind the scenes and do not work directly with participating children.
Your leadership can help bring Spark Troops to more families and communities.

Chapter Volunteers support the development and coordination of Spark Troops within their region. They help establish new troops, support Troop Leaders, promote Spark Troops in the community, and serve as a connection between local troops and Spark Troops leadership.
Chapter Volunteers do not work directly with participating children. Their role focuses on troop development, leadership support, training, outreach, fundraising, and regional coordination.
Who Can Participate
Chapter Volunteers must:
- Be 18 years of age or older.
- Be dependable, organized, and comfortable supporting others.
- Be willing to complete required orientation and training.
- Be able to communicate effectively with Troop Leaders, community partners, and Spark Troops leadership.
- Be committed to helping Spark Troops grow and serve more families within their region.
Key Responsibilities
- Help establish and launch new troops.
- Support and guide Troop Leaders.
- Assist with Troop Leader onboarding and training.
- Share approved information and resources with local troops.
- Serve as a bridge between Troop Leaders and the Spark Troops Board and Council.
- Promote Spark Troops within the local community and region.
- Build relationships with schools, organizations, families, and community partners.
- Support approved fundraising and awareness activities.
- Report regional needs, concerns, and progress to Spark Troops leadership.
Chapter Volunteers should be dependable, organized, comfortable supporting others, and committed to helping Spark Troops grow within their region.
